Since
1896, the Lansing Chapter NSDAR has proudly served the Lansing
community and its neighbors, such as Eaton Rapids, Charlotte,
Haslett, Okemos, East Lansing, Holt, DeWitt, Bath, Williamston,
Laingsburg, Grand Ledge, Mason, and Fowlerville. Today, our members
hail from these locations as well as outlying areas such as Leslie,
Portland, Owosso, and Westphalia, and as far away as North Carolina,
Florida, and Arizona, just to name a few. It is not necessary to
live in any of these areas to obtain membership in the Lansing
Chapter DAR. We are here for you no matter where you live.
We support
the mission of the National Society Daughters of the American
Revolution (NSDAR)
and the Michigan State Society Daughters of the American Revolution
(MSDAR)
which is historic preservation, patriotism, and education. We
strive to involve ourselves in community activities that honor
America’s veterans who have served our country since its beginning.
